WALKING AND TREKKING IN CAO SON

Thanks to the diversity of the region, walking trails are available and various from bushwalk to a great exploration on foot for days.

Short and soft walks
Short distance, complimentary guided walk ranging from 2 hours to 4 hours from our lodge offers you a time to relax with nature feeling.

Long trek and homestays
What you can enjoy with our long trek and homestays is spectacular landscapes and endless hospitality of local tribes. You will be impress by the unveiled tribal culture while being amazed by the nature beauty.

We difined long trek as a trek on forest path or to remote areas which are hardly visited by car. Long trek often lasts from 3 days or more.
All the offered trekking tours features a stay in a very basic condition and it is time to enjoy local cuisine. Our local tour guide and his staff will prepare all the needed things for your great adventure such as: curtain, anti-insect creams,….


TREKKING GRADE

Hard trek - physically very challenging, but suitable for regular hillwalkers who are used to extended days. These treks can involve difficult and sometimes glaciated terrain, as well as lengthy periods at high altitude.  

Moderate - suitable for most hillwalkers and generally involving shorter days at moderate altitude, on good paths and tracks. However, a reasonable level of fitness is required as these treks can involve considerable amounts of ascent and descent and the occasional difficult day.  

Soft trek- suitable for most people in good health, these trips include only a short element of trekking which is predominately on good paths and at low altitude.
